- As of 12/23/09: 476 autographs out of 674 possibilities. (71%) About this project: Growing up, I collected baseball cards. For whatever reason, I ended up with many 1983 Fleer cards. Now I'm writing to players asking to autograph their card. Most players will do it for free. Some charge money for their signature. A few, like Fred Lynn and Jim Kaat, donate the proceeds to charity. I'm not a dealer, nor would I have any interest in selling any of the cards. Perhaps I'll hand them down to my son some day. Come on back and check out how the 83F Project is progressing!

Good ol' John Mayberry. He recently came to my hometown last week and I was able to get four cards signed by him.
That is where this autographed card came from. Rick in Kansas was kind enough to get it signed! Thank you, Rick!
